Vission
“Founded in 2009 by Musa Mbele-Radebe and Kyle John Schofield, Sandis’ Ubuntu emerged from a nascent dream to provide access to quality education through artistic endeavours. Since then, we have tirelessly pioneered programmes that have sought to position Jabulani as South Africa’s first township with a multi-disciplinary library. Our approach is modelled on the potential of a signature to change the course of history. By unearthing the signatures that inherently exist in the DNA of underprivileged communities, we share a commitment to nurture, safeguard and celebrate African literature and the arts through the signatures that make them possible.”
